Policy Debate and LD Debate- We Will Pay You Up To $100 Per Tournament
Brophy Pays You For Your Time- We Don't Care If The Tournament Doesn't
Give You The Rounds - Its not your fault that Arizona tournaments don't
always use the most qualified judges. The number of rounds for which
the tournament decides to use you is IRRELEVANT to how much you should
be paid.
Brophy Keeps You Informed- We try to avoid last-minute judge hiring. We
send all judges on our e-mail list notification, usually a week in
advance, of upcoming tournaments.
Brophy Can Use You Even If You Can't Judge Both Days- If you can only
judge one out of the two days during a tournament we will still use you.
We pay $65 for Fridays (judges must be available for all the rounds) and
$35 for Saturday (typically there are only 2 rounds on Saturday and they
begin at 12:00 and end by 5:00). For every round that you commit
yourself to but neglect to be available, we will deduct $25 per round
from your final check.
Brophy Pays You Quickly- Brophy will process and mail your payment
within 7 days of your service. Unlike other schools, Brophy does not
believe you should have to wait to be paid for work you have already
completed.

Judging- Typically, Arizona tournaments hold all individual events on
Saturdays. However, in the event that a tournament spans over two days,
we will increase your pay accordingly. For every round that you commit
yourself for and neglect to be available, we will deduct $25 per round
from your final check.
