Subject: Texas judges for next year
From: truthistheweapon@juno.com (x truth is the weapon x)
I would like to hear from anyone who would like to judge in Texas next
year. This is the plan:
I usually keep a pretty comprehensive list of who is available to judge
in the Houston area and most coaches who host tournaments (and hire REAL
judges) usually ask me for my list which i am more than willing to
share. I have decided (after talking with Ken Ogden-the webmaster for
TFA) that it would be cool if we had a list of judges for the entire
state of Texas which linked off of the TFA webpage. Coaches in any of
the regions could go to the TFA page and get information to hire judges
in their region or who are willing to travel to their region to judge.
If you are interested, PLEASE E-MAIL ME (mhsdebate@hotmail.com or
schwebb@hotmail.com)! DO NOT POST TO THE LIST-SERVE! with the following
information:
NAME
PHONE NUMBER (many of you don't know what your phone number will be yet,
perhaps you could leave your parent's # for now and update in the fall.)
E-MAIL ADDRESS (also could be updated in the fall)
TYPE OF DEBATE / YEARS DEBATED
STATE QUALIFIER/# OF YEARS, NATS QULAIFIER/ #OF YEARS (something brief
that tells your qualifications, not your entire debate history, please.)
INDIVIDUAL EVENTS IN WHICH YOU COMPETED
AREAS YOU ARE WILLING TO TRAVEL FOR JUDGING
I hope this will be a success for everyone involved and allow
tournaments to hire better judges if they desire to do so.
once again, DO NOT POST TO THE LIST SERVE, RESPOND TO mhsdebate
@hotmail.com or schwebb@hotmail.com .
be cool,
webber
