Subject: Our new cases
We have some cases you dont have listed you should ut these on the
case list:
1 OTEC. We build an OTEC plant on the great lakes. The advantage is
US-Canadian relations. We claim a breakdown of the NHL. Mead, Silk,
Bailey. Advantage 2 is that Zamboni machine repair shops won't have
enough business to survive = poor conditions at public skating rinks,
people fall down and get injured. An astronaut will fall and break his
leg. Adv is space. Getting off the rock, we harp about it coonstantly.
2AC makes stopping leg breaking "a priori." Adv3 riots. Disgruntled
hockey players will riot and undermine US stability. = prison
overcrowding which = prison rape which = juvenile crime. Juvenile crime
= hacking = More bugs in Window 98 causes Bill Gates to lose all of his
money, cant pay mortage on his house and entire real estate sector
collapses.
2 Chinese Tallow seeds. We run this tiny affirmative so no one will
have links to disads. Plus we know no one will cut neg against a case
run by JT Sherman. We claim 100% world wide emissions reductions and
100% stoppage of fossil fuel use in 6 months. The advantage is air
pollution, 500,000 new cases of asthma. More asthma inhalers mean more
PFC use which drives up the cost of semiconductors, collapsing the
computer industry. Impact = no more cyber-porn for Brad. 2AC makes
this "a-priori."
3 Solar powered out houses. Advantage is that current out houses at
constructin sites are not clean enough = racism. White workers are
allowed to use them first before they smell bad. Racism = nuclear war
(Kovel). Plus, solving racism = drug legalization, (the internal link
is shady) Adv. is population through impotence.
4 Legalize all drugs but hemp. Adv. is Disease treaties. If we
legalize drugs, it causes us to look at the public health threat of drug
use. Causes treaties to solve diseases trnsmitted through needle
sharing. The adv. we solve the cold sores. cold sores = millions
suffering. Topicalitycards a re aparently very good.
5 Kill all Elk Grove debaters. The adv is social control good. I can
think of a few others, but we dont run them.
6 Force Frederico Pena to become Energy secretary again. No adv, just a
cool idea. Plus, ``IT'S IN THE FREAKIN' CLIMATE GUIDE.''
7 Carbon tax
adv 1 we destroy the world economy, dedev
adv 2 we kill clinton's agenda. Clinton's agenda = social control
adv 3 disease treaties
adv 4 rights malthus
adv 5 carbon tax taxes space shuttle, makes space flight impossible,
space bad. aliens eat us 2AC makes aliens eating us "a priori"
We also claim every othr DA you can think of as an adv by reading impact
turns in the 1AC.
8 IRP
We claim to reduce renewable energy use, just like all IRP cases
we run the DJOOPRZQ54D IRP and claim the DOE IRP is bad. We claim to
block IPM and promote IPR, all while banning RPS. Funding through NREL,
OJJDP.
Adv. Resolution bad. We reject the resolution by being anti-topical
and reducing renewable energy use. The resolution will block disease
treaties.
9 Devolve all renewable energy projects to the states. Just against
Highland Park.
10 Hawaii. Trade Hawaii to Russia for Siberia. Some times we throw in
a case of Vodka to make sure Yeltsin agrees. Use IFR's to melt all snow
in Siberia to power hydro plants, which are privatized, solves tiger
extinction because tiger hunters get caught in rivers of melted
water when trying to capture tigers for their penises, siberian tigers
are the keystone species. Plus we read Frosted Flakes adv. They're
great.
Also, we use OTEC to re create land bridge btwn US & Russia. Advantage
is defo. Create one huge continent Eur-Asiamerica. Reduces the amount
of paper taken up when writing nams of continents. Women are enslaved
to cut down trees for paper. Plus defo = ebola. Ebola = TV movies
about diseases which noone watches causing television station profits
to be destroyed. Ted Turner's salary gets cut. Low wages
spiral, lock us into low tech. = war, = trade wars,
protectionism.
11 CARECT - comittee ABOUT renewable energy commerce and trade. We give
1 dollar of funding to this program because our other aff became
noninherent and then read cards written by incredibly biased sources
that this 1 dollar is key to US hegemony. We read 2 increadibly long
cards in the entire affirmative. We dont care if this case is
non-inherent. 2AC reads "Deep ecological movements = inter-generational
warfare" as the answer to ANY disad.
