Dear Forensic Community:
You are cordially invited to attend the Milton High School Eagle Classic
on January 19 and 20. We are GHSA sanctioned and will be offering two
divisions of policy debate, Lincoln Douglas, and six individual events.
In addition, we are a Richard B. Russell Allstate qualifier in the open
division of policy debate.
Both policy divisions will use the 8-3-5 format with 8 minutes of prep.
Novice debaters should be in their first year of competition. Lincoln
Douglas debaters will use the January/February topic.
Individual event competition will include dramatic, duo and humorous
interpretation as well as original oratory, extemporaneous speaking and
impromptu. IE'ers may triple enter if they are not entered in extemp.
The deadline for registration is Wednesday, January 17th. Please E
Mail, FAX, or mail your registration forms by that date. Changes in
your registration must be made by Thursday, January 18th or you will be
assessed full fees at registration. Emergency changes made the day of
the tournament should be E-mailed BEFORE 3:00 and CALLED in to the
emergency number after 3:00 pm to keep our schedule running smoothly.
The tournament hotel will once again be the Fairfield Inn. They are
offering a special tournament rate. Their number is 770-663-4000. .
Enclosed is a tentative schedule and directions to the tournament. We
look forward to seeing you in January!

Take 400 North to Haynes Bridge Road, Exit 9. Make a left. Travel
several miles (you will see the Fairfield Inn on your right) until you
come to Academy Street. Make a left. Travel through ``town.'' Milton
will be on your right.
