Newark Invitational 2001
We are eager to extend this invitation to the LD-L community and
others to participate in the 2001 Renaissance City Classic: Newark Debate
Invitational. The tournament will be held on Friday and Saturday, January
26
and 27 2001. (Great practice for Emory) East Side High School will once
again
host the tournament. On Friday and Saturday the tournament will consist
of
Varsity LD and Policy with a TOC bid at Finals. On Saturday, the
tournament
will host the MHL (Mid-Hudson League) Novice & JV Policy and LD
tournament.
The deadline for registration is January 22nd. ( January 19 if you are
hiring
judges.) Send entries (unlimited) to CamaraDL@aol.com or\and
JAAlston@aol.com or call Brent at (973) 761-0772. Online entries are
preferable.
Important Note on Housing: arrangements are made as last year with the
Days
Inn at the Newark Airport. Rooms may be reserved at the flat rate of
$89.95
per room for 1-4 in one room. Tell reservations clerk that you are
reserving
rooms under Group #2128 (Newark Debate Invitational). The agreement was
made
