I would like to announce the second annual Speech and Debate Invitational
held at WIlliam Howard Taft High School in San Antonio. The tournament will
be held on December 8th and 9th and will send out our invitation on the
first of November. We are offering all TFA state qualifying events plus
Poetry, Prose, Impromptu, and Novice debate divisions. If you would like to
receive an invitation and are not sure if you are on our list, please
backchannel me and send me your high school's address as well as your
coach's name. In addition, if you are interested in judging at our
tournamnet, please backchannel me. We are offering $12 per round of debate
and $8 per round of IE's to qualified judges. Also, for more information,
anyone can call Taft Speech and Debate at (210) 688-6055 and ask whoever
picks up for LeNita Smith or David Cruz. We will be able to answer any
questions you have then.
