Subject: USC TROJAN CHAMPIONSHIPS INVITATION
Dear Friends:
Invitations for this years 2000 "Trojan Championships" will go out in the
mail this week. This e-mail will provide you with some of the Tournament
"Basics." If you are not currently on our mailing list or do not receive a
formal invitation in the mail by Saturday, September 9, 2000, please feel
free to e-mail me directly for an on-line invitation (attached as a MS word
document) or a mailed copy.
This year the Trojans have added the likes of John Sharp and Jason Peterson
to our coaching staff. They will also be active in this years debate tab
room!
Due to finals schedules and room shortages THIS WILL BE THE ONLY DEBATE
TOURNAMENT WE HOST. We are unable to host the "California Cup" this year but
will again host it in December of 2001.
IMPORTANT TOURNAMENT INFORMATION
DATES: November 3,4,5, 2000
EVENTS:(Varsity & JV Divisions):Policy & L.D. (NFL Topic for
November/December) Congress, Individual Events: HI, DI, OO, EXP, EXT, IMP,
DUO.
HOUSING / TOURNAMENT HOTEL: We are pleased to announce that the HYATT
REGENCY
is the official Tournament Hotel. We have arranged a special rate of $87.00
per night for all participants in the "Trojan Championships". (Up to 4
people
per room.) Upon making reservations, identify your party as being with the
"Trojan Championship Debates" to receive this rate.
