Subject: 2000 Yale University HS Debate Tournament
Hi everyone--
I'm happy to announce the 2000 Yale High School Debate Tournament is scheduled to be held from Friday, September 22th to Sunday, September 24th, 2000. It will feature Varsity and JV LD, Policy, and 6 IE events (OO, HI, DI, Duo, Prose/Poetry, and Extemp).
(I'm pretty sure that we've gotten a reasonably clear weekend: Wake is the weekend before, and the Jewish high holy days begin the weekend after. However, if anyone does know of a serious conflict, please email me as soon as possible.)
That said, once my finals are over I'll mailing out invitations to all of the schools that have attended in years past.If you haven't recieved an invitation in the past, and would like to this year, or if you don't recieve an invitation in the next few weeks, please email me and I'll be happy to send you one.
Also, there will be a tournament website at http://www.geocities.com/seaeclipse1 with an invitation, electronic registration, list of schools attending, directions, recommended hotels, and some other random information, within the next few weeks.
