Subject: COLORADO CLASSIC AND FLATIRONS L-D RR DATE CHANGES
dear all:
i regret to inform everyone, but the university of
colorado has scheduled a home football game on the
weekend we've occupied for the last several years
(first weekend of november). the university has not
scheduled a game for this weekend in years. as a
result, there is a massive shortage of rooms/parking
AND area hotels refuse to provide us reasonably priced
accomodations.
therefore, here are our new dates (please mark your
calendars):
flatirons l-d round robin -- november 15, 2001.
university of colorado classic -- november 16-17,
2001.
a few notes...
1. as soon as dr. patterson posts the list of toc
qualifying events, we'll be able to tell you the
qualifying level of our tournament for both policy and
l-d.
2. please keep sending those nominations for the l-d
round robin! i have received several dozen, but am
still accepting applications.
3. information about the event will be forthcoming as
soon as we can get some information from the
university about rooms, etc.
we look forward to seeing you all here in colorado! i
apologize for any inconvenience this date change may
provide anybody.
