Dear Forensics Director:

The Speakers Bureau of the University of Floridaâ^À^Ùs oldest and most
prestigious leadership honorary, Florida Blue Key, cordially invites your
forensics team to attend the Twentieth Annual Florida Blue Key Speech and
Debate Tournament. Over the past few years, Blue Key has grown to be one
of the largest tournaments in the Southeast, drawing over seventeen
hundred competitors from more than thirteen states. This yearâ^À^Ùs
tournament will be held October 30, through November 2, 2003.

The weekend will begin on Thursday, October 30th with our Tenth Annual
Round Robin, a separate invitational featuring six preeminent competitors
in the divisions of Policy Debate, Lincoln-Douglas Debate, and Mixed
Extemporaneous Speaking. With the Round Robin, we will also be hosting
our Second Annual Legislative Invitational, which will bring together
twenty top Student Congress competitors.

The main tournament will have separate divisions for Varsity and Junior
Varsity Lincoln-Douglas Debate, and there will be six preliminary rounds
of Policy Debate and Lincoln-Douglas, breaking to a minimum of
octo-finals in both; the Florida Blue Key Speakers Bureau Tournament is a
qualifier for the Tournament of Champions in both Policy and Lincoln
Douglas Debate.

The tournament will also feature Individual Event Divisions of: Foreign
and Domestic Extemporaneous Speaking, Original Oratory, Humorous and
Dramatic Interpretation, Duo Interpretation, and Oral Interpretation, as
well as Student Congress. Additionally, we are very fortunate to once
again welcome Professor Richard Edwards of Baylor University, author of
Tab Room on the PC, to oversee the computerized tabulation of each event.

For additional information, you may contact our registration director by
calling (352) 337-0022, or via e-mail at registration@bluekeydebate.com.

We wish you luck this debate season and look forward to seeing you in
October.

Sincerely,

Denise Kim, Chairperson
Florida Blue Key Speakers Bureau
