Subject: Cathedral Prep Invitational Invite
Since the Princeton tournament will not be held this year, the Cathedral
Prep Speech and Debate Invitational will be moved to fill the void that
results. We are very hopeful that Princeton can be restored next year or
that our Ohio friends can organize a replacement of the same high quality.
We respect the Princeton tradition and the memory of Phyllis Barton and
have no intention of competing with either. In honor of our dear friend,
the Debate Sweepstakes Award will be named the Phyllis Flory Barton
Memorial.
The Details:
Competition will be held December 5-6 in varsity and novice debate,
Lincoln-Douglas debate, Extemp, Oratory, Dramatic Interp, and Oral Interp.
There will be five rounds in every event and elims based on final
registration.
