Dear Debate Coach:
Jackson High School is proud to extend an invitation to the 7th Annual
Hall of Fame Classic Debate Tournament, to be hosted December
19-20,1997.
The location of the tournament is: Jackson High School, 7600 Fulton Dr
NW, Massillon, OH 44646.
This tournament will host both Policy Debate and Lincoln Douglas Debate.
The tournament will feature 5 preliminary rounds in Policy Debate and 6
preliminary rounds in Lincoln Douglas. Both divisions of debate will
begin elimination rounds at the Octafinal level. Both divisions will be
designated as a Predistrict Qualifying Tournament for eligible Ohio
schools.
Pending recognition, this tournament will provide a bid to the
Tournament of Champions at the Finals level in both Policy and LD.
Registration can be by mail (to address on Invoice) with the enclosed
form, or by e-mail at: rld2jc@polarbear.stark.k12.oh.us, or by phone at

330-830-8069.
Deadline for registration is Friday, December 12, 1997.
Registration fees will be $30.00 per Policy Team and $15.00 per LD
contestant. Registration fees must be paid prior to or at the time of
registration.
One judge is required for each two (2) Policy Teams entered (or fraction
thereof).
One judge is required for every two (2) LD contestants entered (or
fraction thereof).
A limited number of hired judges are available at $80.00 each. Limited
housing is available upon request.
