Subject: ASU tournament date
The Southwest Championship dates are also set, come to think of it. January 8
& 9. Between now and about September, the invitation will be coming together
in small pieces, so if you've got suggestions based on your attendance last
year, send them and we'll bat them around. Last year it drew 54 teams from 8
states and was a TOC qualifier for team debate in the finals. This year it's
also fairly obviously a warmup for NFL, for anyone who places a lot of value
on that: debate for the local Phoenix judges, get a lay of the land in
Phoenix. Probably a bigger deal for the IE & LD folks, but worth mentioning.
