Subject: 1998 colorado classic planning information.
to those interested,
this year, the colorado classic has CHANGED ITS DATE!
the new dates: OCTOBER 30TH AND 31ST, 1998!!! **WE NO LONGER CONFLICT
WITH THE GLENBROOKS**
here are some cool features about our tournament.
1) we'll have a finals level toc bid for both policy and l/d.
2) we're having 5 prelim rounds of advanced policy and l/d, breaking to
octo's in both and doubles in l/d if entries warrant.
3) really great flow judges from college teams and elsewhere.
4) novice l/d and policy with 3 prelim rounds breaking to semis.
5) events: di, hi, poe, duo, oo, fx, and dx. 3 prelims breaking to sems.
6) a new and improved schedule to maximize sanity and realism.
7) stellar competition. last year, we had 5 states even with the
glenbrooks being held! this year, we expect many more folks from all
around the nation.
8) speaker awards -- the works!!! it's going to be a great time.
invitations will be sent out in august and later. if you would like an
