Subject: Invitation to the Damien Invitational

The Damien Debate Invitational will take place on January 30-31, 1999, at
Damien High School, in La Verne, California. Varsity and novice policy
debate and open student congress will be offered. Debate will have six
rounds breaking to quarters (unless entries warrant an additional elim
round). Last year's varsity policy division was won by College Prep (on a
close-out), and the novice division was won by Loyola.
Invitations were mailed today to California schools, and will also be
available at the University of Redlands tournament. Anyone wishing to have
an invitation snail or e-mailed may contact me at Damien. My contact
information is given below.
