Subject: OHIO VALLEY: ENTRY AND EMMITT'S RESERVATIONS

		OHIO VALLEY TOURNAMENT REMINDERS

	DATES:	Friday, Saturday, Sunday
		December 4th, 5th & 6th, 1998

	EMMITT'S RESTAURANT RESERVATIONS:
My daughter, Elizabeth Patterson-Coons and her husband Joe, in
August, opened

a new restaurant in Lexington called "Emmitt's Place." The
restaurant is located on the site of Joe's boyhood farm home in
the suburbs of Lexington. (Man of War and Tates Creek
intersection) The restaurant features both American and European
cuisine.

The most important aspect of the new restaurant to the debate community is
the fact that the restaurant is managed and operated by former UK debater
OUITA PAPKA and her husband CHRIS.

RESERVATIONS A MUST!! Thus far,the clientele has far exceeded
expectations. IF YOU WANT TO DINE AT EMMITT'S PLACE DURING THE OHIO
VALLEY, IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT YOU CALL (606) 245-4444 IMMEDIATELY. PLEASE
TELL THE PERSON MAKING YOUR RESERVATIONS THAT YOUR WITH THE UK DEBATE
TOURNAMENT.

When you arrive at Emmitt's (get directions at registration), I suggest you
ask for Page (Ouita's sister who is the hostess), and tell her you are with
the debate tournament. I'm sure Ouita would love to see all of you, but I
am not sure if the demands of the Kitchen will allow her to come out, but I
am sure she would like to know that you are at Emmitt's. Many of you know
my daughter, Elizabeth, who I am sure she will have time to visit if you
want to see her.
