Subject: Auburn Valley Invit. HS Tourn. Info
The 17th Annual Auburn Valley Invitational will be held this year on
Dec. 3rd thru 4th. Auburn HS is located approx. 15 min. from Seatac
Airport, 30 miles south of downtown Seattle. This year we are pleased
to offer TOC bids at semis for Policy debate and at finals for LD. To
encourage out-of-state competitors, we also have a limited amount of
hospitality (free lodging and meals) on a need/distance basis, if you're
bringing at least two debate teams.
In addition to 3 divisions of LD and 4 divisions of CX, we offer 9
speech contests. 3 rds. of debate on Fri. afternoon, and 3 more on Sat.
plus break rds. 3 rds. of IE's on Sat. w/ trophies to the top 10%. Our
trophies are plaques engraved with a picture of Mt. Rainier, which looms
up just behind our school (weather permitting).
