Subject: 1999 Fall Liberty Bell Classic
On behalf of the University of Pennsylvania Debate Council,
I would like to announce that the invitations to the Fall Liberty Bell
Classic were mailed early this week. For all of those that have gotten
invitations in the past, you should get yours by the begining of next week
at the latest. However, if you have not gotten an invitation in the past
and would like to receive an invitation to our TOC SEMIFINAL qualifier,
please respond to this e-mail or register online begining next week at our
webpage:

NEW TO THE FALL CLASSIC IS OUR WAIVER OF REGISTRATION FEES FOR THOSE
COMING TO THE TOURNAMENT FROM OVER 200 MILES (as determined by Yahoo! Maps
driving directions). Also new is a JV division of debate and a 6th round
for Varsity LD. Competition in IEs and Student Congress are also
available.
We anticipate another successful tournament and hope that you can be a
part of it. However, registration is required by Friday, September 24th,
and the only way to guarantee participation in this year's Liberty Bell
Classic is to get your entry in by that date.
