Dear Colleague,
The Millard West High School National Forensic League chapter
would like to cordially invite you and your students to attend the 4th
annual ÔMillard West Wildcat InviteÕ at MILLARD WEST HIGH SCHOOL on
Febuarary 18th-19th. We are looking forward to another extremely
successful tournament and promise to provide you with a hospitable and
professional setting.
We will again be hosting the ÒNovice Nebraska CupÓ for both
Policy and Lincoln-Douglas debaters. Allowing the younger members of our
activity a chance to share some of the limelight. Trophies and speaker
awards for novices will be nice and fitting of the name.
Of course, We will also have Varsity Policy and Lincoln-Douglas
debate. The past three years have offered oustanding competition from
around the Midwest. We are hoping to continue this tradition with a
stronger field in both events this year. We expect to have competitors
from 4 or more states this year.
New this year will be a Congressional Debate competition on
Saturday afternoon. Millard West has enjoyed the hospitality of several
other school competitions this year and we are glad to return the favor.
Congress is a great activity for both novice and varsity debaters to
participate in.
We once again thank you for considering this invitation. We hope
to continue offering strong competition at the Millard West Wildcat
Invite and the Nebraska Cup. Please check tournament information
included to avoid confusion. If you have any questions please call
(402-894-6063) between 8:00 to 3:00. If you call after 3 p. m. please
use (402-894-6036). You can fax entries or responses anytime at
(402-894-6060), or email us at jgibson@millard.esu3.k12.ne.us.
