Subject: 1999 Yale High School Debate & Speech Tournament Dates
Dear LD-L,
I am happy to be writing you as a director of the 1999 Yale High School
Debate & Speech Tournament. I directed this tournament last year and am
looking forward to doing so again. This year, Heather Richardson will be
my co-director.
Our first order of business is to set a date for the tournament. We
tentatively have chosen Friday, September 24, 1999 through Sunday,
September 26, 1999.
I hope that if you are planning to host a tournament on that weekend or if
you know of one that plans to use that weekend, you will e-mail me and/or
Heather. Unless we discover a serious conflict, we will keep those dates.
A tournament Web site will appear soon at http://home.att.net/~yalie. If
you go to that address now, you will see last year's Web site. Please DO
NOT rely on ANY of the information from last year. The new information
will be online by months end. Over the summer, electronic registration
will open.
Finally, if you are interested in receiving an invitation in the mail and
you did not receive one last year, please e-mail us.
