Subject: Jackson Diocese -- CFL Qualifiers

Here are the qualifiers in LD and Policy Debate for the National Catholic
Forensic League's Tournament In New York City from the Diocese of Jackson
(Mississippi), which covers all of central and northern Mississippi. I and
everyone else from the Jackson diocese would greatly appreciate it if
someone would post this list on hsdebate.com and anywhere else that LD and
Policy results are posted.
The qualifying tournament was held at St. Andrew's Episcopal School in
Ridgeland. Over 30 LD debaters competed for five qualifying spots. Three
policy teams automatically qualified just by showing up, and did not have to
debate at the qualifying tournament.

LD Qualifiers: Name, School, City, records at qualifiers (in parentheses)

1) Vince Falconi, St. Joseph Catholic High School, Madison (4-0)
2) Mary Catherine Starrett, St. Joseph Catholic High School, Madison (4-0)
3) Laura Mortimer, St. Andrew's Episcopal School, Ridgeland (4-0)
4) Peter Clericuzio, St. Andrew's Episcopal School, Ridgeland (3-1)
5) Alston Avritt, Clinton High School, Clinton (3-1)

Vince decided to attend in Congress, and Alston, due to graduation, will be
unable to attend the national tournament. So, the five LD delegates from the
Jackson are:

Mary Catherine Starrett
Laura Mortimer
Peter Clericuzio
Alan Henderson, R.H. Watkins High School, Laurel
Land Jones, St. Andrew's Episcopal School, Ridgeland

Policy Qualifiers:

1) Brian Griffin and Jonathan Stricker, St. Andrew's Episcopal School
2) Rahul Gupta and Carl Boschert, St. Andrew's Episcopal School
3) Vishal Patel and Patrick Weems, St. Andrew's Episcopal School

Congrats to all,
Peter Clericuzio
