Subject: West Iowa District Results
This past weekend the district qualifier to NFL
Nationals for Western Iowa was held at Dowling High
School in West Des Moines. The following people will
represent West Iowa in various events.
LD:
Joe Shippee (WDM Dowling High School)
Steve Schappaugh (DM North High School)
Someone from Denison High School who I honestly don't
know the name of.
1st alternate: Mark Grotewald (WDM Dowling High
School)
2nd alternate: Elizabeth Silbermann (DM Roosevelt High
School)
FX:
Peter Rough (WDM Dowling High School)
1st alternate: Lindsay Purdy (DM Roosevelt High
School)
DX:
Michael Mapes (LeMars High School)
Josh Padget (Ankeny High School)
1st alternate: Mark Grotewald (WDM Dowling High
School)
Josh Padget will be attending Nationals in Congress,
so the first alternate, Mr. Grotewald, will be
attending nationals in his stead.
Congrats to all participants. Special congrats to Tim
Sheaff. Every single slot in FX since 1996 has been
held by his program, Dowling High School. Now THAT'S
dominance.
