Subject: Nebraska NFL results
In the Nebraska NFL district, Millard West qualified Tricia Bolin and
Jennifer Larson. The alternates were also from Millard West--Greg
Fehrenstein and Jenna Coalson. The Millard West ld'ers lost only one round
that wasn't a coach-over. Pretty amazing performance. We couldn't beat
'em, but we will try again at State this weekend. My congrats to all to the
Millard Westers and to coach John Gibson, a good friend and one hell of a
coach.
In Nebraska South, Omaha Mercy's Eileen Sullivan went undefeated and earned
a trip to Nationals along with Lincoln East perennial bad boys Ted "the
Undertaker" Ashley and Tom "I have to come up with a new nickname for Tom
now that he no longer wears bad hats" Dunbar. Congratulations to Sister
Rosemary Floersch and Matt Molsen, two great coaches.
