Congrats to all the competitors and coaches. Special congrats to Tricia and
Ted. Tricia has completed an outstanding career of Nebraska competition but
will go on to TOC and NFL Nationals. Ted will be competing at NFL Nationals
but is unfortunately moving east after an incredible junior year. They are
two of the best ld'ers ever to debate in Nebraska, and it was an outstanding
finals round.
Congrats also to John Gibson, head coach at Millard West, and Matt Molsen,
debate coach at Lincoln East. In state LD, we are limited to two entries
per team, and we had 47 competitors from 24 schools-- a damn good entry
quantity-wise as well as in quality.
