Greetings-

The first annual Chesapeake Bay Round Robin at The Johns Hopkins
University ended today.  14 debaters split into two divisions of 7 with
2-judge panels; here's how it panned out

SPEAKER AWARDS
3rd - Samantha Waters, Catonsville
2nd - Rick Brundage, Highland Park Senior
1st - Jordan Woods, Monticello

DAVID LEE ROTH DIVISION
3rd - Blaine McPhillips, South Glens Falls (7 ballots)
2nd - Matt Everett, Manchester Essex (11 ballots)
1st - Josh Fulwiler, New Orleans Jesuit (12 ballots)

In the final round, Josh Fulwiler of New Orleans Jesuit affirmed against
Samantha Waters of Catonsville.  On a 5-2 decision (4-2, judges, 4-2
students: comprising 1 vote), Josh Fulwiler is the inaugural Chesapeake
Bay Round Robin champion [Beretay, Camara, Ferenstein, Somers, Weaver*,
de Senglau* (Dahan, Sidhu, Naidu, Everett, St. Amour*, Woods*)].
