Subject: Greenhill RR results
There were two wheels, each with 7 debaters. The top ballot taker in each
wheel advanced to a final round between the wheels.
Lincoln division:
Orjit Ghoshal - Grapevine (11 ballots)
Kelsey Olsen - Apple Valley (10 ballots)
Mike Lee - College Prep
Erica Adams - Garland
Jen Larson - Millard West
Ben Johansen - Muscatine
Peter Fan - RL Turner
Douglas division:
Josh Anderson - Sehome (10 ballots)
Eric Wolfish - Greenhill (9 ballots)
Craig Lavoie - Bartlesville
Frances Schendle - Hockaday
Sheika Bhattacharjee - Iowa City West
Jeff Doss - St. James
Tim Fletcher - Valley
In the final round, Orjit picked up on a 2-1 panel decision (Babb,
Haver,Koshy*). The non-official student decision was 4-4 (Frances, Tim,
Wolfish, Peter, Erica*, Kelsey*, Jen*, and Mike*)
So in the end:
1st place: Orjit
2nd place: Josh
3rd placed: Kelsey and Eric
