This past weekend the Iowa Forensic League held its annual state
championships. The following are the results from that tournament:

It should also be noted that for the first time in recent memory, enough
competitors were entered in the tournament to cause there to be more than
16 debaters with a winning record. Two debaters were not allowed to
debate in elims though they had the record to do so. It should also be
noted that these debaters were freshman and in their first year of
debate. Those two debaters are:
