Subject: Kansas Debate Coach's Invitational
Kansas' best and most prestigious tournament concluded this week. The Debate Coach's Invitational has been around for about 20 years. It combines the best 20 teams in Kansas. All classifications, all districts, and all divisions of debaters throughout
the state apply to this tournament. When the applications are all in, they are sent out to the Selection Committee. This committee, comprised of coaches, rank the applicants from best to worst. The votes are tallied and the top 20 get to compete at thi
s tournament. This tournament is considered by many to be the best tournament in the state, some call it the Kansas TOC.
