Subject: Glenbrook RR Results
To all:
I would like to announce the results of the 1999 Glenbrook Round Robin in
Lincoln-Douglas Debate. It was a very intense few days with several excellent
debates that I was lucky to see. Some of the best in the country were here
and they all deserve great congratulations for being invited. The results are
as follows:
Participants:
Victoria Brown (Hunter)
Anna Marino (Apple Valley)
Nathan Foell (Edmund North)
Joe Ross (Nova)
The Top Three Finishers Were:
3. Noah Grabowitz from Hen Hud (8-4)
2. Jamal Sheikh from Vestavia Hills (9-3)
And the Glenbrook Round Robin Winner (And the only person to know how to make
a chatch-46)
1. Eric Gehrie from Net Trier (10-2)
Three speaker awards were given. They went to:
1st: Eric Gehrie
2nd: Noah Grabowitz
3rd: Jamal Sheikh
Once again, congrats to all who attended, especially Eric Gehrie, placing
first in the Round Robin, and Noah Grabowitz, winning the 1999 Glenbrook
Invitational in Varsity LD.
