Subject: Northeastern Debate Championships
Out of a total field of 15 debaters, the Northeastern Championships held at
Lakeland High School was well run and made for good practice.
After 4 rounds the tournament broke to finals in each division....
Varsity-

JV-
Sailesh Naidu (Bergenfield) def. Josh Weisbrot (Hen Hud) 3-0
Novice-
Stephen Melchinne (Monticello) def. Lauren Brinkerhaft (Monticello) 5-0
Congradulations to Mr. Menick of Hendrick Hudson for winning the coach of
the year for the Northeast.
