The Massachusetts State LD tournament broke in varsity to semifinals. The
results were as follows:
Semifinals:
Needham SK (Aff.) over Milton DS (sorry, don't have name) (1) (5-0)
Lexington LI (Neg.) over Needham SB (Sarah Burg) (3) (4-1)
Finals:
Needham SK (Sean Kelleher) (Aff.) (4) over Lexington LI (Livia Istraté) (2)
(3-2).
In novice LD, Lexington MJ (Matt Johnston) defeated a debater from Milton
(sorry, I don't have the code/name info. - if anyone does have it, please
post it! Same w/the name of the Milton debater above).
Congratulations to Sean, Matt, the Milton debaters, and Livia (who reached
the final round of MA State for the second year in a row). :)
