THE ROAD TO THE FIRST TOC OF THE TWENTY-FIRST CENTURY

DATES: SATURDAY, SUNDAY, MONDAY
MAY 6,7,8, 2000

TOURNAMENT HOTEL: RAMADA INN (FORMERLY THE HARLEY)

TOC 2000:  THE FIRST QUALIFIERS

	The following qualified for the Y2K TOC by breaking into the "Sweet Sixteen" at the 1999 TOC National Championship Tournament.

POLICY

	Loe Hornbuckle and Adam Savoie - Caddo Magnet (LA)
	Michael Harbour and Ben Thorpe - Pace Academy (GA)
	

LINCOLN-DOUGLAS

	Noah Grabowitz - Hendrick Hudson (NY)
	James Sheikh - Vestavia Hills (AL)
	Andrew Rothschild - Cypress Creek (TX)
	

FIRST TOURNAMENT RESULTS

	The Grapevine tournament in Texas will be held the weekend of September 11th.  We hope to post the TOC qualifiers on Monday, September 13th.  Director Jane Boyd is always very prompt in reporting the results.  Grapevine qualifies for the TOC at the Semi-Finals level in both Lincoln-Douglas and Policy debate. 

WAKE FOREST AND GREENHILL

	Both Wake Forest and Greenhill qualifying tournaments will be the weekend of September 18th.  Both tournaments qualify at the octa-finals level in both policy and lincoln-douglas debate.
